PopArt!

Making the Pop Art was a fun experience even though I know Andy Warhol didn't use photoshop to make his famous works. I didn't expect some of the difficulties I faced making my own. I found my self watching the tutorial at least 5 time just to get it right. I'm proud of my creation. I even printed it out and gave it to my friend for Christmas since it was a picture of us. I would say that in order to make it a little easier for the next person, use a giant photo. Size makes a big difference in the amount of detail you can do, and the resulting image, especially with the Pop Art look. This project took me longer than I expected, all the colors and layers can be confusing but very fun and rewarding when you seen the result.

  1. that's good advice, i'll try to remember to strongly encourage students to go large on the photo size for this one. but you did get a good half-tone effect, regardless. i hope pepper liked it. :-)
