Reaching out of Bounds was a really fun unit for me. As I continue to learn more about photoshop it's more and more fun to make my own versions of the projects. Learning photoshop is like being let in on some big secret about art that seemed OH so difficult and impossible. I let my creativity show a little more on this one which required me to use the Masking Fur unit in addition to the Reaching out of Bounds unit. I love kittens so I had to learn about masking fur to make the cat look like it was really out of the TV. I didn't expect that to be so easy either, making fur and being a perfectionist do not mix well. I could have puffed up that cat for hours. I'm proud of my work with the coloring of the finished picture. It took me a while to understand how to make an overlay look good, but I think I finally got it.
i LOVE that that little kitty paw is reaching around the TV set frame. they love each other and they want to play!
ReplyDeletegreat idea for a photo. the only suggestion i'd make is to darken the light on the kitty that's on the table because it looks like the tv should be blocking the light.
